Family and Friends
May 2007
We have had a lot of fun time with family
and friends this year. And we are looking forward to further visits and
travels.
Jean (A.K.A. Grandma Dude), celebrated a big birthday
this year. We enjoyed sunset together before partaking of the dinner Neil cooked for her.
Morley was avoiding being photographed but our neighbor Michael caught
him enjoying his glass of bubbly.
Neil next to his big (and how) brother Perry,
and his sister Cindy (she makes coffee nervous) at one of the best
pizza joints on the planet. Perry's son Dustin is in the back, and his
daughter, Stephanie, is in the front with her son Jonathan (Steph was
on leave from Iraq). Gennie, Perry's former wife, is next to Dustin.
Neil's daughters, Ari and Mailea (with hubby Greg added via digital
magic), pose with Cindy and her kids Keegan, Gillian, and Kalli, along
with GrammaDude and her tiny buddies Radar and Lilo during their 2006 visit to Iowa.
Which one is scarier, Greg's band Turbo Justice and
the Rockinauts or Grandma Dude's Halloween costume? (A candid Halloween
shot of GrammaDude was circulating on the internet a while back,
perhaps you saw it.)
Lani, Pualani, Peggy, Nan, and Wanda
I still enjoy my bi-monthly card game with the ladies. Although Peggy
moved to NC in March,
Wanda and I have been able to continue visiting Pualani for a game or
two.
Our good friends Dawn and John Conn with their
daughter Jessica visited Maui from Alaska with his Mom and Step Dad
from Oklahoma in April.
We decided it was time to visit them in Alaska and just booked our
flights for the last two weeks of July!
We visited George and Sara at their home in North Plains Oregon
(outside of Portland). They live in an amazing forest George maintains!
Barbara Parker and William Nichols had just gotten home from their home
in Coranado
Island in time for us to get see them in Seattle (their other home).
We got to see Dina, Clark and Jake while visiting California.
It was great to see our friend Ursula Glick who has moved from Maui
(twice) to Monterey area. Maybe she will keep bouncing back and forth!
We missed getting photos of others we visited, Ken Burton and the
Randle's. Maybe they will send me some.
