She is really into the Disney princesses and got a princess outfit as one of her presents.
Uncle Hare did face painting for the kids. Sophie is getting a unicorn.
Whenever Sophie found a wrapped gift, she would say "oh, a present, can I open it." She knew it was her special day and presents were for her.
Quentin's first question to me (before even a hello) was "did you bring me a present?" I explained no, he was seven and he was old enough to not get a present on someone else's birthday. He was disappointed but still he was willing to give me a smile for the camera.
They have a pool in the back yard which has been great fun for them this summer and it was a busy place during the party. And they have great pool toys.
Here is a photo of Quentin caught in the act of being a big brother and annoying his sister with a water squirt gun. To be fair, he was squirting everyone in the pool. When the water started to get close the camera, I moved out of the way.
