In December 1999 Pamela and Chris moved to Lawndale where Chris is co-pastor
of the Centinela Baptist Church. They love their home there.
It is a parsonage next to the church and was newly refurbished for them.
Chris is getting involved with civic affairs in hopes of promoting the good of the community and raising the visibility of the church. He has begun work on writing a book. It will probably be 2 years in the making, and is concerned with church music.
Pamela
stays quite busy with church work and her garden. She has recently
taken up the hobby of quilting, which she is enjoying immensely.
In
October, they visited Dad and Jane in Ohio for two weeks. November
20-22 they spent 3 days at Big Bear in a cabin to celebrate Chris' 50th
birthday. Then for Thanksgiving Day, they flew to Sunnyvale to spend
5 days with Chris' parents and his sister and her husband. They plan to
spend Christmas in Ridgecrest with Mom and Melaine and Levy family.
Jason and Vajra live on the island of Maui in Hawaii. Their new baby boy, Quentin Jason, was born on October 18, 2000. Chris and Pamela are happy about their new grandchild.
