Neil and I dove three days on the Great Barrier Reef outside of Cairns, Australia. The visibility was a little low as they had been having a lot of rain the previous two months. We still loved seeing new fish and all the different hard and soft corals. We were able to do two night dives; didn't take the camera so missed getting a shot of the cuttlefish, the blue-spotted stingray, and the white-tip reef shark out looking for dinner. Also had huge ulua (trevally) using our dive lights to assist their nightly hunting expeditions. They would dart close by us looking for small fish in the glow of the lights.
The clams are HUGE and colors quite beautiful.
Beautiful but poisonous Lionfish
Purple barrel anemone with
3 clown anemonefish.
