Quentin turned 5 years old October 18, 2005. He has started Kindergarten in Hana, Maui, and is exceeding his reading goal each month, last month reading 11 books and this month already having read 30 books. He had perfect attendance first quarter. I talked to him on the phone one day when he was "doing his homework" practice his handwriting. He is learning Spanish and Hawaiian languages. Vajra said his last evaluation he was exceeding expectation.

For Quentin's Birthday, we went to the Aquarium. He proudly displayed his "I'm 5" button sent by Aunt Melanie.

I try to see Quentin about 2 times a month. Vajra calls when they come to "this side" shopping or visiting if there is time for me to spend a few hours with him. And other times I drive to Hana to see him. We go to the park, play T-ball with Uncle Neil, or go to the beach to play in the sand.
