I got to play with Quentin and Sophie Saturday. I picked them up early from their Grandma Marjorie's and we went to the Maui Ocean Center aquarium before I drove them home to Hana in the afternoon. This is only the second time Sophie has gotten to go to the aquarium. There is a new exhibit and Quentin has been anxious to go see it.

In front of the Shallow Reef tank is a great view of what you might see snorkeling. As Sophie watches in the tank, notice Quentin behind her asking the volunteer naturalist questions. He is very good about asking for more information.

We got to see them feeding the octopus in the Surge Zone, and the vegetarian fish getting their lettuce lunch.
 
A few of the fish came right up to the window for a visit checking us out.
 
Quentin enjoyed playing outside on the turtle sculpture.

We were early enough in the day that there was lots of room to run and play in the tunnel without disturbing others.
 

These photos all a blur actually represent the day pretty well. The two were on the go all the time.
