This summer we had family visits. Neil's daughters were able to extend their stay to 5 weeks this summer (it has only been 4 in the past.) Grandma Jean came to get to see her granddaughters (and us of course.) There is always a lot of laugher and wonderful meals.) We have a full house!   And Neil's sister was able to come for a week during this time for visit. Poor Neil had to deal with 5 women and 1 bathroom.

 

The annual 3 day trip to Hana included Cindy and their cousin Ralph from Honolulu. It always includes many jumping spots from the top of waterfalls and here Neil is jumping into Venus Pool. Also included is hikes to the bamboo forest, and fairy land, hiking and swimming at the red sand beach, and climbing the lava at Waianapanapa plus body surfing off the black sand beach there.

Mailea is a Senior this year and graduates in June 2002. She wanted to have her senior picture in the wilds of Maui. Dad's a pretty good photographer!
 
 

And we say good-bye for now from our beach at sunset, thinking of family and the fun summer we enjoyed.
