It is COLD in Ridgecrest in December. I am sitting in the passenger seat all bundled up. Madison and Hailey are bundled up behind me. Warren was about to take us on a wild ride.
When Dad and Jane came to visiting in January and February, we had a beautiful evening at the Old Lahaina Luau. We walked around looking at crafts and drinking Mai Tais (well some of us did) and watched them take the roast pig out of the imu (the cooking pit in the ground). Then we watch the sun set over the ocean while enjoying a delicious Hawaiian meal. And finally we were entertained by the dances and chants of historic Hawaii.
The men even did dishes after a home cooked meal, or should we admit that Dad grabbed the towel for a picture. Of course Jane and I like the kind of meals where no dishes need to be washed. Here we enjoyed the sidewalk Swiss Cafe in Lahaina.
Dad and Jane came to visit me at work one day at the Aquarium. Dad got some good pictures through the tanks of the baby hammerhead shark, a sandbar shark, and a stingray laying on top of the tunnel.
