Neil and I spent nearly two months visiting his daughters and friends on the mainland in January and February. I couldn't believe we were visiting again in the winter but it wasn't nearly as cold as last year, and it was good traveling in "off season." I just pulled out my box of "mainland clothes" from the closet and Neil had the great idea once we got there of visiting thrift stores for extra layers we could just leave when we came home. Mailea and Greg were wonderful putting us up (or putting up with us) and we spent a few weekends in Santa Cruz and took several short getaways. We enjoyed a wonderful excursion to Oregon and Washington driving the coast routes where every turn in the road had gorgeous scenery. Neil took lots of photographs and we thought we'd share some you including the panoramas Neil created.
